Dr. Christina Nugent, a former Fifth and Sixth Grade teacher, attended her first CGI Seminar in 2005 when she was a Math Coordinator and Lead Instructional Coach for the Dubuque Community School District. She supported teachers throughout Dubuque on their CGI journey. In 2009 she began teaching CGI Seminars to teachers throughout Iowa. In 2011 she became the principal of Fulton Elementary School. She loves many things about being a principal but especially loves connecting with students and being able to watch students’ mathematical development in Kindergarten through Fifth grade.
